A brand new SU HS-6 carburettor pair (2 pcs. carburettors) for all Volvo Amazon, 140, P1800 and PV with B18D or B18B engine, as well as for B18A performance tuning.

Genuine SU carburetors with polished bell domes and housing parts with excellent aluminium surface. Helps the engine compartment, for example in the context of a restoration, to a brand-new look.

With air filter flange for the flat air filters with two mounting holes, which are used on cars up to 1966.
The high air filters with three mounting holes, which are used on cars from 1967 onwards, can still be fitted. Closed air filter boxes can also be mounted.

When converting engines with a single carburettor (B18A) additional engine adaptions are necessary:
- A suitable camshaft. True to the original, the camshaft with profile "C" or the profile "K" offers to increase the performance.
- Ignition distributor with matching ignition curve. Recommendable here is the 123-Ignition distributor.
- Optimal is a two-pipe downpipe. Absolutely necessary with camshaft "K".
- Sport exhaust system for camshaft "K".

It is possible to mount rigid jet needles using the adapter 1069746. But the pre-mounted "swinging type" needles have the advantage that the mixture is more accurate and the combustion is cleaner. The needle "swings" and slightly touches the jet walls which prevents the forming of fuel drops at the needle.
