Intake manifold/intake pipe for SU HS-6 double carburettor.

This intake manifold/intake pipe is not only suitable as a spare part for vehicles where the intake manifold and exhaust manifold are separate parts. It also enables conversion to manifolds on B18 and B20 engines that were previously equipped with a 1-piece intake/exhaust manifold.

In combination with a new camshaft, SU carburetors, 123ignition and throttle linkage, also suitable for converting B18A / B20A to B18B / B20B.

Manifold with two holes for the hose connector of the vacuum hose to the brake booster or for the exhaust gas recirculation. Unused holes must be closed with plug 1022709 (plug not included).

If the vehicle was previously equipped with double carburettors, e.g. if the USA cast intake manifold is to be replaced with exhaust gas purification throttle valves, a new throttle linkage (Skandix 1049213) plus a mounting bracket (Skandix 1037345) is still required. The throttle linkage is higher on the aluminum intake manifold, which is why the old parts no longer fit. The original bracket on the bulkhead must be moved all the way up within its elongated holes.

Mounting material for mounting bracket 1037345: 2x screw 1031278 + 2x fan washer 1023034.

Stromberg CD175 and SU HIF 6 also fit this intake manifold, but the throttle linkage does not fit, modifications and custom-made items are necessary.
