Intake manifold for Twin SU HS-6 Carburettors.
This Intake manifold is not only a spare part for vehicles which have separate Intake and exhaust manifolds. Using this Intake manifold makes it possible to use a fan-type manifold at B18B or B20 engines which originally have a single-piece intake/exhaust manifold.
Can even be used to convert B18A/ B20A to B18B / B20B in combination with a new camshaft, SU Carburettors, 123ignition and a throttle control kit.
Manifold with two threaded holes for the brake booster vacuum hose stud and for the exhaust gas recirculation. Unused holes must be closed with plugs 1022709 (plugs not included in delivery).
If the vehicle was already equipped with double carburettors before, e.g. the USA cast iron intake manifold with EGR flaps is to be replaced, a new throttle linkage (Skandix 1049213) plus bracket (Skandix 1037345) is still required. The throttle linkage is higher on the aluminium intake manifold, so the old parts no longer fit. The original bracket on the firewall has to be moved to the top inside its oblong holes.
Mounting material for our bracket 1037345: 2x screw Skandix 1031278 + 2x lock washer Skandix 1023034.
