The interior panel has 4 oval holes on the back, into which the retaining clips snap. These holes are often damaged, which means that the inner panel no longer holds on to the tailgate.
We offer two different items with which you can reinforce and restore damaged holes with a metal sheet:
repair kit Skandix 1009726: Set of 4 separate plates, complete with screws and new clips.
Repair part Skandix 1045712: A long plate that repairs 2 holes simultaneously and additionally supports the entire edge of the panel. This plate can be glued on or drilled through and fixed with self-tapping screws.
