Repair Kit Tailgate Cover

11.07.2017Reparing the trunk lid panel at the Volvo 850. This Manual is applicable for Volvo 700, 900 / V90, 850 / V70.
Item 1005611. The 4 smaller Clips are not necessary for item 1009726.
Open the tailgate.
Carefully remove the frame.
Next step is to remove the inner cover.
Check the spacers on the inner side of the cover for damages.
Lay the metal plates from the repair kit over the damaged spacers. Fold the edges and fix it using the included screws.
Remove the plastic clips and replace them by new ones from the kit.
Carefully mount the cover and frame.
Finished.
