In contrast to the calm original design with a float in the stillpipe, this tank sensor is a variant with a float on the lever. This can result in negligible slight fluctuations in the pointer during operation because the instrument is not buffered.
The original connector housing can no longer be used, the distance between the contacts is slightly larger. New connectors and insulating hose are included with the tank sensor.
