This is the new version with ball-joint access at the shaft and not at the waist.

Can only be installed with the new version of the waist (1029359). At some models a new waist is neccessary, see service notes.

Service instructions:

To replace the throttle shaft its neccessary to remove the inlet manifold and the valve cover. In Addition to the valve cover gasket the brackets and gaskets of the fuel injectors must be renewed. At this models with engine number before -436030 the waist must be replaced by the newer version:

C70, S40, S60, S80, V50, V70, XC90.
