With this tool kit you can repair damaged threads for the injectror mounting screws in the cylinder head.

High strength thread repair with threaded steel sleeve. Our tests have shown that the conventional repair with wire thread insert does not work reliably at this point, because they are usually not long enough.

Unlike the original screw connection, steel screw in aluminium cylinder head, there will be no contact corrosion between steel sleeve and steel screw after the repair.

The kit supplies a spiral drill, a countersink, an installation spindle and 10 pcs. threaded sleeves.

Service instructions:

- Drill out any screw residues.

- Use the drill from the set to drill the hole of the size required for the threaded sleeve.

- Slightly counterbore the hole with the supplied countersink.

- Apply chemical screw lock to the outside of the sleeve.

- Insert the self-tapping threaded sleeve with the cutting slots facing down using the supplied spindle.
