The newly manufactured base plate solves the following problem:

Ripped screw holes cause the door push button to stick inside, it does not longer come out after pushing.
The lock items then lost their stance. By design, the screw holes are mounted close to the edge and the original part is made of die-cast material.

Over the years, the material breaks out. Our new part, of a more modern plastic with reinforcing admixture, restores the function and does not become brittle due to the material properties.
