The SKANDIX 1072564 repair kit can be used to repair the threads for the door lock base plate inside the door handle.
The door handles of the Volvo Amazon are originally made of chrome-plated die-cast material. The steel fixing screws (Skandix 1058957) for the door lock baseplates (Skandix 1052209 / 1052210) can become seized over the years. When the door lock baseplates are replaced, the threads can therefore be damaged when the screws are loosened.
The set contains a tap and 2 new screws. Content sufficient for one handle.
