KG-manifolds are constructed for performance engines and racing use.
Fan-type manifolds are racing accessory parts. Adaption work is necessary at most of the vehicles, especially at the Volvo PV. Old dynamos can be block but the cars can be upgraded to an alternator, see Skandix 1001661 or 1001688.
Service instructions:
Installation tips Volvo P1800: For assembly the studs must be removed from the cylinder heat. Attach the Manifold with a new gasket and insert the studs after the manifolds is in place. The manifold must be adapted at the underbody before the collector pipe and at the control arm mounting.
