This seal (known as a "cuff" according to SAAB) was installed until 1989 and is also the holder for the fuel pump. Most of the original parts have now become very disintegrated and sticky on the inside due to constant contact with petrol. It is not advisable to reinstall them when replacing the pump. Because the pump versions were installed in a somewhat mixed up way at the time, it is advisable to remove the pump before ordering spare parts. There were versions with and without a pre-feed pump, and the assignments in the SAAB range are not necessarily correct.
