Attention!

Before installing the ignition cassette, it is essential to apply special grease to the inside of the spark plug connector! It is also recommended to replace the spark plugs every time the cassette is replaced.

For future spark plug changes you can also order the special grease separately, Skandix 1045677.


If the ignition cassette does not generate an ignition signal, the crankshaft sensor must also be checked. The error pattern can be confused.

Engines with this ignition system do not have a conventional knock sensor; the ignition cassette supplies the relevant data to the control unit.
