What does "old part in advance" mean?
Since there are no longer enough old parts of this spare part available worldwide, we cannot access any existing stock. Please send us your spare part to be refurbished after placing your order, so that it can be completely overhauled. Unlike exchange parts that we have in stock, no deposit is required.
An original gearbox cover where the gear lever guide has been repaired and improved.
The original gearbox cover is made entirely of aluminum, as are the two slots in which the steel pins of the gearshift lever are guided. These slots become larger as they wear. As a result, the gearshift becomes less and less precise and the gearshift lever changes its position - in severe cases, the gearshift lever is almost on the passenger seat in 4th gear.
In order to solve this problem sustainably, we replace the entire thread with the guide slots with a durable bronze insert.
