The original gearbox cover is completely made of aluminium, as are the two slots in which the steel pins of the gear lever are guided. These slots are getting bigger due to wear. As a result, the shifting becomes inaccurate and the shift lever changes its position - in bad cases the shift lever in 4th gear is almost on the right front seat.

To solve this problem we replace the complete thread with the guide slots with a durable bronze insert.
