Clutch plates for dual mass flywheels usually have no shock absorbers. Therefore, you can very easily bend them with careless installation. The disc is then no longer flat, and wobbles. The clutch may not work properly. It is therefore very important to install the assembly straight!

Volvo 850, S70, V70I:

At Volvo, there are special tools for installing the clutch that should be used. This will prevent the vibrating of the clutch. (1011436, 1011437). When installing the clutch without these tools you risk the possibility of the clutch shuddering. A complaint will not be accepted if the tools are not used.

This Volvo instruction is valid for the clutch installation at this vehicle family, it is not specific to the Skandix spare parts!

Use the slave cylinder 8667661 (1006083) from yearsmodel 98. The standard Release bearing only fits up to 97!
