Regarding Volvo XC90 (-14):

This is the new version of the rear window wiper. The manufacturer has replaced the old version with this one – they differ in design and wiper blade, but are interchangeable.

Please check which version is installed beforehand. If you are replacing the old wiper with the new one, you will also need a new wiper blade.
