Enclosed screws fit for standard belt threads. In old vehicles another thread can be used

In particular, by alternative installation on the front seat ,belt staps should be installed so they can be easily disengaged. Please see the infotext at item no. 1006805!

Service instructions:

Because of a new EU standard, the manufacturer is no longer able to make seat belts that roll up in every position. In order to use the strap the complete ball mechanism must be removed. A manual is available upon request.

The actual blocking mechanism of the belt remains completely untouched.
