Adapting the belt reel Automatic belt

23.11.2021Due to a new EU standard, it is no longer possible for the manufacturer to produce belt systems that roll in every position. We show how to convert the belt roll so that it rolls in any position. The actual blocking mechanism of the belt remains completely unaffected.
The right side cover must be disassembled.
CAUTION! Under the left side cover is the clockspring - Do not open!
To do this, this pin must be driven out....
... and removed.
Then carefully unlock the retaining tabs and remove the side cover.
This ball blocks the unrolling mechanism if the roller is not mounted rectangularly.
Remove the housing with the ball. The housing is fixed with two retaining lugs which can be unlocked.
Done. Now the side cover can be mounted again. Please test the function of the blocking mechanism again!
