This Mounting frame makes it possible to replace the factory-installed Car Radio with a DIN Car Radio from popular brands like Alpine, Blaupunkt, Becker, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, Pioneer etc.
Factory-installed often have a vehicle specific shape. Because oft that the DIN Car Radios cannot be installed without a special Mounting frame.
The kit contains a storage shelf which can be mounted below Car Radios in 1-DIN size.
Adaption work must be done to install a 2-DIN Car Radio. The inner guides must be removed, the 2-DIN Radio cage cannot be fixated.
Not for vehicles with Telephone-Keypad near the Genuine Car Radio. If a DIN Car radio is installed, it may be possible that the Telephone-Keypad does not work. In that case you can remove the Keypad and use the Mounting frame nevertheless.
