Service instructions:

If bonding is necessary at all, the cover should only be attached at specific points using the recommended silicone adhesive. On some vehicles, securing it via the ventilation grilles or speaker covers is sufficient.

Under no circumstances should the cover be bonded over its entire surface using unsuitable adhesive, as this can lead to stress cracks!
