What to do if the door can no longer be opened or locked with the key?
There is a small pin that transmits the rotary movement of the door lock cylinder to the lock mechanism. If the pin is damaged due to wear or a sluggish mechanism, the above-mentioned problem with the door locks will occur.
We have had the part made new, as it is not offered as a spare part by the vehicle manufacturer. It is not available as an individual part or as part of another assembly. The new pin is made of a specially hardened metal.
The lock cylinder pin fits the following vehicles:
- Volvo S70 (-2000)
- Volvo V70 I (-2000)
- Volvo V70 XC (-2000)
