New: Outer door seals for Volvo 140, 164, 240 and 260

The outer door seal was originally fitted to the Volvo 240 in 1986 to reduce wind noise. Such a seal was not fitted before 1985; as with almost all cars from the 70s, there was only a seal on the inside of the door. The wind noise in the Volvo 200, which was based on the Volvo 140 produced from 1966 onwards, was no longer up to date in the early 1980s and was significantly reduced with this second seal.
As these seals were glued into the otherwise unchanged doors at the time, they can also be retrofitted to any older 200 Volvo, as well as to the Volvo 140 or 164.
We have now had these seals, which are no longer available from the manufacturer, reproduced in all the necessary dimensions, including for the 242 and 262, for which the outer seal was never available.
From our own experience, we can only recommend the retrofit, as it makes the 200 significantly quieter and more comfortable.
The profile and design of the seals correspond to the original parts. They are self-adhesive with a high-quality 3M adhesive strip and are easy to fit.
The upper, outer door seals are now available in our store under the numbers in the attached table.
