Gearshift gaiters in leather for classic Volvo

In contrast to other classic cars such as Alfa Romeo or BMW, Volvo gearshift boots up to the 164 series were always made of rubber, never of leather. This is good against the noise from the gearbox and engine, but does not look particularly high-quality. In order to upgrade the interior, we had leather gaiters made for the old Volvos.
The installation is very easy. These cuffs are simply pulled over the existing rubber cuff. All you have to do is unscrew the gear knob and take off the tray. In addition, the carpet and the damping mat should be lifted to fix the boot underneath or to glue it to the original rubber boot.
The Volvo P1800E/ES is equipped with a tray as standard. For the Volvo Amazon we offer such a tray as an accessory. The leather sleeve looks particularly good in combination with a shelf.
A shelf should also be present so that the cuff stays reasonably in its seat and the attachment is covered at the bottom.
