Choke cable deflection in engine compartment Volvo P1800

SKANDIX 1071304 is a complete, newly manufactured choke cable deflector for the Volvo P1800 Jensen and P1800S.
On the Volvo P1800 Jensen and P1800S with SU HS-6 dual carburettor system, there is a baffle in the engine bay (SKANDIX 1071304), which connects the choke cable (SKANDIX 1070300) coming from the control handle with the double choke cable (SKANDIX 1018564) running to the carburettors.
The new deflection solves the following problem:
The pivot point for the deflection is deformed due to wear and also due to excessive operating forces with stiff choke cables. The choke can then no longer be operated correctly, is stuck and stiff. Adjusting old but smooth-running choke cables and even replacing the choke cables will not remedy the situation.
Therefore, we had the choke cable deflection newly manufactured. In contrast to the original part, the pivot point has been improved in our remanufacture.
You receive a ready-to-install pre-assembled set made of galvanised steel, which corresponds to the original number 665466. The retaining clip for the cable sleeve and the clamping blocks for the souls are included in the scope of delivery.
