Cable holder for speedometer sensor Volvo 200, 700, 900, S90, V90

On the Volvo 200, 700 and 900, the speed sensor for the speedometer has been fitted in the differential cover since 1986. On vehicles with ABS, this sensor is also the wheel speed sensor for the ABS.
In contrast to other vehicles, the speed sensor is quite protected at this point.
Nevertheless, after a service life of only two to three normal car lives, two weak points often occur here:
Firstly, the supply line tends to break and corrode, for which we have had the repair kit 1029612 in the store for years. This enables an inexpensive and sustainable repair of the wiring harness.
On the other hand, there is the cable holder 1068774 on the differential, which allows the cable to be routed there without chafing and has lasted so long. After thirty years, this is often quite rusty, and in the worst case it no longer holds the cable and puts additional strain on it.
This cable holder was actually supplied by Volvo until recently, but has since been discontinued without replacement. As we have been aware of the considerable demand for this inconspicuous holder for some time, we had it reproduced before our stock was exhausted. It is made from galvanized sheet steel according to the original sample.
The cable holder is now available in our store under the number 1068774 so that the speed of your Volvo can be reliably displayed for the next three years of your car's life.
