Schwedenstahl Returns to Neumünster
Anticipation is building in the Volvo community: On August 30, 2026, the Volvo Stammtisch Schleswig-Holstein is hosting what will be its 19th Volvo meetup. Following last year’s huge success, the event will once again take place on the grounds of the KulturLokschuppen Neumünster—a venue that proved to be the ideal location in 2025.
Already at the last meet, the new concept—developed in collaboration with the KulturLokschuppen—drew a veritable flood of visitors. The number of participating vehicles rose significantly, bringing over 200 Volvo models from a wide range of generations to Neumünster. For 2026, the Stammtisch is now setting its sights on the next major milestone: around 300 vehicles from all eras of Volvo history are expected.
As a result, the meet has long since made a name for itself far beyond Schleswig-Holstein. The event is now one of the largest privately organized Volvo meets in Germany and is an integral part of the scene. Specialized and classic car publications, as well as regional media, regularly cover the event.
The international response is particularly impressive: Visitors from Scandinavia, the Benelux countries, and all over Germany travel to Neumünster every year to celebrate their shared passion for the Swedish brand. Reports from partner clubs—including those from Denmark and Sweden—underscore the event’s excellent reputation far beyond the state’s borders.
The KulturLokschuppen grounds not only offer ample space for the ever-growing number of vehicles but also provide a very special atmosphere. Set against a backdrop of historic railway history and classic Swedish steel, the event fosters exactly the kind of encounters and car-related conversations that make for a great brand gathering.
Of course, the popular program highlights will not be missing in 2026 either: a trunk sale, food and drink, and plenty of space for technical discussions and exchanges among Volvo fans are firmly on the agenda.
Whether it’s the classic Amazon, the angular 240, the sporty 850 T-5R, or modern models from the younger generations—the full diversity of the Volvo brand will once again come together in Neumünster.
