Brake disc Front axle - The Differences

Volvo 121, P1800

22.12.2021

The brake discs for our vintage Volvos are nowadays produced in different versions. We will give you an overview of the most important differences: In the 1-part version, hub and disc are made of one single cast part. In contrast, the Volvo original brake disc consist of several parts, as it was originally factory-installed. A new disc is mounted on a new steel hub. After being pressed together, the disc is grindet to the correct size and can be used immediately. The steel hub used here is more durable and more resilient. The SKANDIX brake discs are true to the Volvo original in design and quality.
