20.11.2024Here we show how to install the upper pad and arm rest cover on the door of a P1800S model year 1968 US model.
Cut the edge of the panel to fit.
Stick the cover to the panel.
Putting the upper panel in place is a lillte bit difficult. Four hands make it easier. If you are struggling with just a pair like us, maybe ask for some help.
Following steps have to be done simultaneously:
- Merge the upper cover under the seal of the quarter window
- Hook the middle clip on to the support rail (see previous picture)
- Put the whole cover onto the upper door frame.
Put on the winder crank, make sure the omega-clip snaps in.
Tighten the screws.
Check if the window is running free and even.
Mount the sheet cover of the quarter window.
Finished.
