Convertion kit to one multi-stage carburettor with intake manifold, carburetor, gaskets, rods, air filters and different nozzles for optimum customization!
The Weber 32/36 is a good alternative to SU HS-6 Twin carburettors at B18B or B20B Engines.
When converting engines with a single carburettor (B18A, B20A) additional engine adaptions are recommended:
- A suitable camshaft. Profile "K" is recommended.
- Ignition distributor with matching ignition curve. Recommendable here is the 123-Ignition distributor.
- Optimal is a two-pipe downpipe. Absolutely necessary with camshaft "K".
- Sport exhaust system for camshaft "K".
Service instructions:
The intake manifold has threaded holes for:
- Hose stud crankcase ventilation (alternatively a blind plug is included)
- Hose stud Brake booster (alternatively a blind plug is included)
- Water Hose stud for manifold preheating (holes are simply left open if not needed)
- Vacuum connection for e.g. ignition distributor (can be closed with plug Skandix 1010627 - not included)
In the carburettor foot itself there is a further hose connection for the vacuum hose to the ignition distributor. This can be closed with the supplied rubber cap.
The air filter also has a hose stud for connecting the crankcase ventilation.
