This kit converts the B4B engine from a Zenith 30VIG or Carter to a reliable brandnew Weber 34 carburettor.
- Conversion to a downdraft carburettor of similar type.
- No exchange part, the original vehicle parts can be stored.
- With pre-assembled 165 main jet. If necessary, this can be replaced by the 145 jet included in the kit. A float chamber seal is also included in the kit for this purpose.
- The original air filter does not fit any more, a suitable sport air filter is supplied.
- The original Choke wire fits.
- Fuel supply with hose connection. The original steel pipe between pump and carburetor may have to be converted to a hose, but the car manufacturer recommends this anyway to avoid steam bubbles.
Conversion of gas linkage:
- The original angle is removed from the throttle cap of the new carburettor, but the adapter piece from the set is mounted. The washer on the shaft is omitted.
- The length of the linkage must be adjusted so that the throttle flap opens completely at full throttle. Rough basic setting: centre ball head - centre ball head = 220mm.
