If the convertible top is not programmed correctly, the drive is stuck or something is wrong with the linkage, these flaps can quickly become damaged. Worn-out elastic straps or cords in the top skin can also be responsible for this. If the rear roof bow hits the flap, it breaks at the hinge.
Because the flaps are no longer available, we have now made a repair kit for the hinge.
