There are two types of steering gears possible. SMI and ZF. IAn SMI steering rack should be replaced with the same(1006431). If a ZF was installed, you need additional parts.

Service instructions:

WARNING! Please check the universal Joint of the Steering column on free movement and freedom from blacklash. A defective joint will destroy the steering rack.
