One of the most common issues when restoring a vehicle seat is a non-functional, worn-out, or broken heating element.

The solution:
A completely new heated seat pad design featuring an integrated thermostat and temperature limiter. Unlike older, fragile pads that rely on individual wires—which tend to break over time, causing the seat heating to fail—these new pads feature a modern construction.

The heating grid within this pad is designed to be trimmed to fit. You can customize the pad to your seat and even cut into it without risking a loss of contact or a short circuit. Consequently, even a broken wire (however unlikely) would not affect the pad's heating performance.

The heating wires are fully integrated into the fabric, preventing them from shifting or snapping due to overstretching.

The heating pad comes with an adhesive strip, allowing it to be securely bonded to the seat foam.

The pad is suitable for use in both the seat cushion and the backrest.
The 60 cm connection cable can be adjusted as needed. The connector must be reused from the old heating element.

Service instructions:

While the heating mats can be used individually, they must always be wired in parallel when installed in a single seat. They must not be wired in series with old mats within the same seat. If a series connection was previously used, either both mats must be replaced, or the existing old mat must be disconnected (rendered inoperative) if heating the seat cushion alone is sufficient.

For vehicles where seat heating is controlled via the CAN bus or the climate control unit (models from approx. 2000 onwards), separate wiring must be installed for these heating mats, along with suitable switches and fuses.
Additionally, it must be determined whether the original heating system needs to be removed from the system configuration to prevent error messages or consequential faults.
