Service instructions:
For the B20, there are three different thickness head gaskets, 0.8 - 1.2 - 2 mm. This makes it possible to vary the compression of the engine. 0.8 and 1.2 mm . Thick gaskets are usually used for dual carburetor and fuel injection engines. For single carbureted engines 1.2 and 2 mm seals come into question.
Higher compression ratio (= thinner gasket) usually results in higher performance.
Lower density (= thicker seal) is a quieter running engine, provided the engine is mechanically sound.
Note: The thicker the gasket, the more important the immediate tightening of the cylinder head bolts!
