When converting engines with a single carburettor (B18A, B20A) additional engine adaptions are a must:
- A suitable camshaft. Profile "K" is recommended.
- Ignition distributor with matching ignition curve. Recommendable here is the 123-Ignition distributor.
- A two-pipe downpipe or a fan-type manifold.
- Sport exhaust system.
- A must with the B18, recommended with the B20: A machined cylinder head.

The carburettors are supplied with an installed standard nozzle set. As usual with sports carburettors, it must be individually adjusted according to the engine setup by the use of other nozzles (main nozzle, air correction, idling, accelerator pump). Nozzles must be ordered separately.
