What does "old part in advance" mean?

Since there are no longer enough old parts of this spare component available worldwide, we cannot access any existing stock. Please send us your spare part to be reconditioned after placing your order so that it can be fully refurbished. Unlike exchange parts from our stock, no core charge applies.

Please note:
There are very few companies today that can reliably recondition carburetors. Therefore, the turnaround time for the reconditioning can vary considerably depending on our workload and can extend up to 1.5 years. In most cases, it is faster and takes between 3 and 8 months. We naturally strive to keep the turnaround time as short as possible, but we have no control over speeding up the process once the carburetor is with the reconditioning department. Please be aware of this before sending us your old part. Thank you for your patience!



Stromberg 175CD-2SE carburettor version for the B20A engine.

The main wear occurs on the bearing points of the throttle flap shaft insinde the carburettor housing. If the shaft has too much play the engine will suck in false air through the play. At our overhauled parts the shaft is professionally replaced.
