Forged pistons have a higher strength due to the manufacturing process. Therefore, they can withstand high loads. Furthermore, the pistons are lighter than the standard parts.

1. Wear measurement -> determine later piston oversize through engine repair operation
2. Order piston
3. Only drill out the block when the engine reconditioner has the pistons to be installed (there are different piston dimensions for each oversize step between different manufacturers) - there is also the risk that an oversize step could suddenly be out of print.
