B20 E Engine, built with a D-camshaft, steel timing gear set, and an oil pan featuring a threaded insert for an oil temperature sensor.

As part of the overhaul process, these engines are converted for operation with unleaded gasoline.

The delivery time is approximately one week after ordering, provided that stock is available. The old engine (core) must be delivered to us in a clean condition and drained of oil.

Condition of Core Parts Upon Return

The use of remanufactured spare parts is increasing significantly within the automotive parts trade. Vehicle manufacturers support this trend, as it helps conserve both the environment and natural resources. However, only those parts that have failed due to normal wear and tear—typical for the specific component—can be successfully remanufactured. Parts exhibiting external damage—for instance, from impact, accident, or severe corrosion—cannot be remanufactured and must instead be scrapped.

Reimbursement of the core deposit is contingent upon the return of a reusable core part. The following checklist outlines the general requirements that must be met:

- The core part must correspond to the replacement part originally supplied.
- The core part must be complete and fully assembled.
- The core part must be free of any residual fluids.
- The core part must be free of mechanical damage to its housing.
- The core part must be free of accident-related damage.
- The core part must be returned in the original packaging provided by Skandix for the replacement part.

Core parts that do not meet these requirements will be scrapped; in such cases, no reimbursement of the core deposit will be issued.
