Today only headlights with 4 pole connectors are delivered. Originally double headlights with 4- or 5-pole connections were installed in the car factory.
If your old headlight is 5-pole, but the new headlight is 4-pole, the adapter Skandix 1012825 is additionally required. The wiring in the new headlight is replaced by the adapter.
We recommend to always replace the sheet metal nut for the indicator mounting (see Skandix 1017603), which is pushed onto the headlight housing.
The original part is a disposable item. If reused, the indicator can become loose.
