There is currently no manufacturer worldwide that still produces xenon headlights for the S60 I, V70 II, and XC70 II. Converting to halogen headlights is also technically impossible, as this would cause software problems and render the headlights nonfunctional.

If the lens is defective: The factory and the design do not provide for the replacement of the lens. The entire headlight must be replaced.

Service instructions:

There is an early and a late version of the Headlight from 2005. Volvo replaced the Headlights, so the OEM manufacturer Valeo did as well. The Control units are different:

Control unit for early Headlights: Skandix 1046491
Control unit for late Headlights: Skandix 1052035

When ordering a Headlight, due to the replacement you will always get the new version. If the car has the earlier headlights installed it is necessary to use a new control unit, order Skandix 1052035.
