Single Hall sensor as a replacement part for a Bosch distributor. This part, the most frequently defective part in a distributor, is used in many Saab 900 and 9000 models from 1981 to approximately the mid-1990s that have a connector on the side of the distributor. Not for vehicles with DI ignition cassettes or Hall sensors on the crankshaft.
Service instructions:
The Hall sensor must be riveted onto the distributor base plate; the original connector must be retained on some models, as the same connectors were not always used.
