This bracket is required if an alternator is to be mounted on an older motor block (e.g. B18) without the needed thread on the front side.

Our additional catalogue pictures show a ready mounted bracket. It is best to use the same rubber pads (Skandix 1030698), sleeves (Skandix 1031453) and washers (Skandix 1031576) as for the holder of the dynamo.

Service instructions:

Check the belt trace after installation. It may be possible to adjust the trace with washers between the Alternator and the mounting points.
