What does "old part in advance" mean?
As there are no longer enough old parts of this spare part worldwide, we cannot access any stocks. Please send us the spare part you want to recondition after placing your order so that it can be overhauled. In contrast to exchange parts in stock, there are no deposit amounts.
An original gearbox cover where the gear lever guide has been repaired and improved.
The original gearbox cover is made entirely of aluminum, as are the two slots in which the steel pins of the gearshift lever are guided. These slots become larger as they wear. As a result, the gearshift becomes less and less precise and the gearshift lever changes its position - in severe cases, the gearshift lever is almost on the passenger seat in 4th gear.
In order to solve this problem sustainably, we replace the entire thread with the guide slots with a durable bronze insert.
