When using this reinforced clutch on a new or nearly new flywheel, the pressure plate must be mounted with shims 1109534 to ensure complete clutch disengagement. Even with flywheels that have been used for some time, mounting without shims can cause problems, as the driven plate is approximately one millimeter thicker.

When replacing the clutch, also replace the slave cylinder and hose. Hoses deteriorate internally over time and can damage the slave cylinder! Thoroughly flush the hydraulic system before installation! Always check the transmission input shaft seal and pilot bearing and replace them if necessary!
