This repair kit includes a piston seal, dust sleeve and a newly manufactured pressure rod.

The pressure rod has a plastic head, which wears out over time and becomes smaller.

At high mileages and / or heavy clutches the pressure rod of the clutch slave cylinder can slip through the hole of the release fork. Then the piston drops out of the slave cylinder and the brake/clutch fluid runs out - the pedal stays down.

Always check the release fork and push rod for damage and wear and replace if necessary.
