Skandix 1064697 is an old version replacement charge air hose for the connection between turbocharger and charge air pipe in vehicles which have not yet been converted to the newer version of the charge air pipe. Hose Inner diameter 62mm on both sides.
The hose is equal to the OE no. 31274235 which has been replaced by the vehicle manufacturer and makes it possible to only replace the hose without converting the charge air system to the newer version. The vehicle manufacturer replaced the entire charge airflow between the Turbo and the intercooler due to problem with the air pipe supports. If one piece of the airflow system is broken the entire system must be converted.
Please measure the broken hose before ordering to check wether the vehicles has already been converted:
- Old hose version Volvo 31274235: Inner diameter 62mm on both ends
- New hose version Volvo 31370490: Inner diameter 58mm on the one end and 62mm on the other end.
