Volvo has changed the handbrake cables for the 960 from 1995, S90 and V90. The old cable does not exist anymore.
If it must be replaced, then only against the new cable (31202868), which can be installed only in conjunction with the parts listed in the accessories!
The replace of the left side can only be done with the Volvo Original brake cable, because there are no connectors at the aftermarked parts.
On the additional picture you can see the connection betwenn the three cables. At the right side you can see the Connector of the original left cable. At the left side you can see the connection to the right cable.
