Volvo has changed the handbrake cables for the 960 from 1995, S90 and V90. The old cable (9140979) does not exist anymore.
If it must be replaced, then only against the new cable (31202868), which can be installed only in conjunction with the parts listed in the accessories!
The connector between the left and the front cable is not included in the left aftermarked calbe (Skandix 1001345). Order the connector separately (Skandix 1062441) or use the genuine left cale (Skandix 1015623) which is delivered with the connector.
On the additional picture you can see the connection betwenn the three cables. At the right side you can see the Connector of the original left cable. At the left side you can see the connection to the right cable.
