Service instructions:
In certain circumstances the flushing valve of the petrol vapour evacuation may produce a ticking/knocking sound, getting louder in cold weather.
gasoline engine without charger:
The rubber coated clamp diminishes the noise, replacing the genuine plastic clamp that connects the valve to the cooler housing (front left). The new clamp has to be fixed using a new screw in the right hole.
gasoline engine with charger:
The rubber coated clamp diminishes the noise, replacing the genuine plastic link that connects the valve to the intercooler. The link has to be removed before the clamp can be fixed using one of the existing screws holding the intercooler.
